The purpose of the Association shall be to provide a forum for the exchange of ideas among business professionals engaged in the management of medical practices in the State of Connecticut. It will serve as a mechanism to identify solutions to common business and management problems through group effort and concerted group action.

Networking:

• Meet and exchange ideas with experienced medical group managers throughout the state.
• Locate members through a membership directory.
• Access vendors related to medical practice management.

Professional Development:

• Quarterly educational seminars offered on current topics of interest such as state and federal regulations, practice management, and human resources.

Government Relations:

• The Government Relations Committee monitors and lobbies for legislation affecting the medical community.

Communications:

• CMGMA Connections, our quarterly newsletter, provides articles on current issues and trends in medical group management, training, and professional development as well as association news.
• CMGMA's Web site gives you current information on upcoming meetings, job positions and links to national MGMA and various medical practice-related sites.
