Educational Programs:

Receive special member pricing through vital industry educational programs throughout the year. Each program is selected from the five general domains from the Body of Knowledge for Medical Practice Management developed by the American College of Medical Practice Executives (ACMPE). The five general domains are: Professionalism; Leadership; Communication Skills; Organizational and Analytical Skills; and Technical/Professional Knowledge Skills. ACMPE provides a professional development roadmap for advancing in or entering the medical management field.

Social and Networking Events:

CMGMA members can take advantage of several social and networking events including our annual golf outing at a discounted rate. These events are fun and are an opportunity to brainstorm with fellow administrators in a non-formal setting.

CMGMA’s resources can help you become certified by the American College of Medical Practice Executives. Our mentoring program, ACMPE networking social, and scholarship program are designed to help you meet your ACMPE educational needs.

Member FAQs

Question: I am a member of national MGMA. Does this mean I am a member of Connecticut MGMA?

Answer: No. Membership is not reciporcal between the national MGMA-ACMPE and state organization.

Question: How do I change my contact information?

Answer: Log into the members only section of the website to update your profile.

Question: Can I transfer my state membership to another individual?

Answer: No. Membership is individual and not company and cannot be transferred to another individual.
