Chris Marciano, Prepare to Act

Chris is back again with a follow up to his Situational Awareness and De-Escalation Training he presented last year.

Chris Marciano is the CEO/Founder of Prepare To Act, a Connecticut based business built on the foundation of safety, awareness, and personal protection. In August of 2022, Chris retired after 25 years in law enforcement. During his career he worked mostly in the patrol division of the Watertown Police Department. He was assigned to the Statewide Narcotic Task Force where he worked undercover throughout the State of Connecticut. During this time, he was promoted to Detective, and in 2015 to the rank of Sergeant.

Upon his retirement, Chris was finally able to focus full-time to Prepare to Act. Chris began the transformation of Prepare To Act into something his community and those around him hadn’t seen before. PTA began to transform into a personal safety business that was based first on personal growth, self-confidence, and the identification of our individual purpose and meaning in life. Chris began incorporating all of those attributes into all the safety training programs and services he and Prepare To Act were creating. Chris speaks nationally, providing situational awareness/deescalation training and consulting services to businesses and individuals. Most recently, Chris has started a non-profit organization, Program 4 Purpose, a non-profit group that works to give young people more power through mentoring and helping out in the community.

Chris Gathers

Chris Gathers is the true embodiment of finding light through the darkness.

Born with an unwavering spirit, Chris has always been driven to push boundaries and defy expectations. It was all put to the test as a survivor of a 2021 Brain Tumor Diagnosis.

It was at first crushing and then inspiring. It forced him to commit to living a bolder, more inspired life to help those around him and a wider audience.

In March of 2022, he committed to using his pain to make a difference. He started his Instagram page, Culmination Point. He has built a community of 12,500 followers and invites them into a world where vulnerability is celebrated, where raw emotions are embraced, and where healing begins. It has also served as a platform to raise awareness for cancer and trauma recovery and lending a helping hand to those in need.

From a young age, he possessed an innate talent for connecting with others on a deep emotional level.

With a caring and uplifting energy that radiates from within, Chris has the remarkable ability to touch hearts and souls through his content.

Chris’s words are a reflection of his own personal struggles and triumphs, a testament to the human spirit’s capacity for growth and transformation.

His genuine care for others is evident in every interaction, leaving a lasting impact on those he encounters.

In a world that often feels disconnected and detached, Chris Gathers serves as a reminder of the power of human connection and the power of empathy, compassion, and kindness.

Chris lives in Glastonbury CT with his beautiful, caring family. His wife (heart and strength) Nancy and his two angels – Brooke, 15 and Ella 9.
